
The Board of the Manager has responsibility for the investments of the fund in accordance with the principles agreed by the Board of LEF.

Douglas, 52, has 28 years' financial markets and investment experience and holds a number of directorships of private equity and property funds as well as sustainable energy funds. Previously a director of Chase Investment Bank and Vice president at Chase Manhattan Bank (now JP Morgan) in London where he held a number of senior pan-European finance and markets related roles before moving to Jersey. Douglas was a director of Mourant and is a graduate of Exeter University. Douglas is considered by the Company to be an independent director on the basis that he is independent of the Adviser.

Trevor Cooke, aged 62, was appointed a non-executive director of Ludgate Investments Limited in 2004 and of Ludgate Fund Management (Environmental) (Jersey) Limited in 2007. Through his forty year City career he has been a partner in stockbroker Grenfell & Colegrave and Managing Director or CEO of the stockbroking and investment management activities of international and UK based banks and financial institutions, including CIBC, Guinness Peat Group, KBL and Brown Shipley. He retired in 2004 as a director of Brown Shipley & Co. Ltd., where he was head of stockbroking and investment management. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Donald Adamson, aged 48, is a resident of Jersey and Chairman of the Offshore Committee of the Association of Investment Companies.
He has 23 years' experience of fund management, private equity and corporate finance. He built, with a partner, and sold Graham Investment Managers Limited, a Jersey based fund manager. Through his own specialist consultancy business, he advised NatWest Markets, ABN Amro, Collins Stewart, GE Capital and others. Currently he manages his family's private office and serves on the boards of a number of listed and privately held investment companies. He holds an MA from University College, Oxford, carried out graduate research at Nuffield College, Oxford and is a Member of the Securities Institute.
